Macau has been enjoying double-digit growth for the past three years, something that's expected to continue in the foreseeable future.
Businessman Anthony Mok, who runs a chain of supermarkets, testifies to a better business environment.
Mr Mok, GM, Benvindo Supermarket, said: "Before the hand-over (to Chinese rule), business wasn't good. Several years later, it's now better. There're fewer hooligans and it's easier to earn money now that they've opened many new casinos".
